Abby Hazlett is a dancer, choreographer, director, singer, actor, teacher, and writer from Pittsburgh, PA and a proud Equity Membership Candidate (EMC). She is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester (BFA musical theatre/dance minor) and Stage Right! School for the Performing Arts and an alumna of Performing Arts Abroad.
Abby has worked with professionals such as Trey Compton, Bob Cline, Brett Smock, Robin Levine, and Aaron Galligan-Stierle, among others, and with companies such as The Rev Theatre Company (formerly Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival), where she earned her EMC card in the company of Grand Hotel in 2019. She made her directorial debut this year at the director/choreographer of Girls Like That at Nazareth College.
Offstage, Abby is a dance instructor, freelance writer, coach, and tutor. She's worked at several dance studios and performing arts schools in the Pittsburgh area, training ages 6-18 in dance and helping students work on audition material. She has published works on the platforms Medium and Vocal and offers her services in script writing, copywriting, blogging, social media, Ebooks, and more.
