Abby is a trained dancer, choreographer, and instructor with over 15 years of training in jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe. As part of her BFA in musical theatre from Nazareth College, she also finished a dance minor, where she not only took technique classes, but studied dance improvisation, dance terminology and theory, choreography theory, somatic practices, anatomy, and various movement techniques, such as Laban, Alexander, View Points, and others. She has choreographed productions of Cabaret, Sister Act, and Girls Like That and taught ages 8-22 in various styles. (Interested in Abby teaching a masterclass or working at your dance studio? She will discuss what your strengths are, what style you want, and even help you edit!

Abby graduated with her BFA in musical theatre with a dance minor from Nazareth College, where she also studied literature, writing, history, science, and other core subjects. Abby was a top mathematics, english, language arts, and writing student prior to and in college, having multiple honor roll and dean's list recognitions. She has received certificates of completion for the following Udemy courses: Master the Fundamentals of Math. Using her unique creative edge, Abby will find ways to effectively help you (or your student) get through a tough subject!

Abby has the unique position of having had gone through the college audition process twice, having been a transfer student. She recently received her BFA in musical theatre with a dance minor from Nazareth College, a quickly rising musical theatre program in Rochester, NY. Having just left the college environment, she has a fresh sense of what colleges are looking for and what students should be looking for. The college application and audition process can be exhausting, and Abby can help you work material, find material, make a resume, organize your book, look for programs, and give you everything you need to expect from prescreens and in-person auditions in a safe and unbiased environment.
